While the new study done doesn’t really tell women to start drinking if they are middle aged and there are many factors involved with this study. But for the most part many women will find that there can be a good side to drinking moderately.
You see there was a study done that women that drink moderately tend to find themselves at less of a risk for heart disease, stroke and certain brain problems. And though it may not be clear as to why, some believe it has something to do with how alcohol reduces the swelling in a body.
There was a study done for a few thousand nurses who were middle aged. Somewhere around 58 for most of them. And in this study the objective was to see which ones would live the longest without problems to their health. And if the ones that got the farthest or farther drank or not.
When all was said and done they found that of those who made it to old age with no health problems, only around 22% didn’t drink at all. The rest of the group that made it had about 1 to 2 drinks a day and a few even had up to two or three a day.
However their should be a note that this study was done on women who were in shape. So this may not have the same effect on those that are obese. And for many studies done it is shown that 2 drinks a day for a woman is generally bad for her health. For the most part you will find that everything depends on the factors.
