Del. David Englin of Virginia intoduced a bill that proses that a group figure out how much revnue would be generated if over 300 liquor stores state-wide sold marjiuana.
Englin himself doesn’t smoke marijuna, or even inhaled it, for that matter. But he’s interested to see how much tax revenue could be generated from such an operation.
Other lawmakers, however, aren’t as excited as Englin. They don’t see Englin’s bill being taken seriously, and think that Englin himself must be smoking something.
It’s not likely that this bill will be taken seriously, but it’s promising that more and more bills just like this are being proposed each year.
